This is a new genaration star wars jor’s, burn the jedi temple, & don’t mind doing so, luc resigned from the force & the they’re killing almost all the old characters 3-6, was the best, 1-3 okey, better then this, they have changed the star force franchise to their own thing something else, & the story is not as firm as it was in the early days, it’s more loose now, it’s not to bad, but not the same, as when George alucas was coordinated it all

It’s watchable, but 3-6 was the best, 1-3 okey, good effect, but the franchise is not as good since George Lucas sold it, the story is not firm, it’s loose’, meaning they don’t care about the old story, they’re going with their own thing, which can be good though, but in this this case they’re erasing the old movies mysteries which thay’re own new thing, & they’re killing almost every old characters 1, by 1 LOL, & are replacing them with their own new characters, so they can kill the old movies entirely,.. oh yeah luc & joda are ignorant, & careless in this one as well, jora burning down the Jedi temple, & luc resigns from being a jedi & have the abilities but removed from the force, don’t make sence, it’s a movie, & a fantasy but still, lol.. coming from a guy that follow the franchise since the beginning .. this is a new generation Star Wars

I cannot understand how anyone could call this movie great? You only need JarJar to make this the worst StarWars ever. Although, the women or rather non-male gender will be happy. One of the main male characters is a coward, the hero male dies in the end, all the new power/main characters are female except the boy at the end holding a broom. Fitting for the new man. He may turn out to be a hero, but only if he is confused about his gender and turns into a non-male.

In a world bursting with flashy popcorn movies, there's still nothing quite like a "Star Wars" flick.

    The Atlantic

The Last Jedi is a fine film and a highly promising addition to the Star Wars canon.

    December 14, 2017

Nothing in "The Last Jedi" is allowed to be mundane, including the places the filmmakers take the story.

    Rolling Stone
    December 14, 2017

Rian Johnson's middle chapter in the current Star Wars trilogy is the epic you've been looking for. Capped by Mark Hamill in the performance of his career, it points the way ahead to a next generation of skywalkers - and, thrillingly, to a new hope.

    December 12, 2017

There's a sense that Johnson is giving busy-work to certain characters while others are catching up. The Last Jedi is a great 105-minute movie stretched too thin.

[Rian Johnson] achieves what no one else has since The Empire Strikes Back: a fusion of junkyard genre parts and passion.

    A profound spiritual experience.

    New England Movies Weekly

The Last Jedi represents a triumph for the series and will make you forget Jar Jar Binks ever existed.

    Journal and Courier (Lafayette, IN)
    December 14, 2017

Johnson ends the film with the rebel forces on the defensive and with their resources mostly spent. Yet he offers a sliver of hope - there's that word again - as he assures us, when the screen fades to dark, that brighter days are ahead.
