Say Anything...Lloyd (John Cusack), an eternal optimist, seeks to capture the heart of Diane (Ione Skye), an unattainable high-school beauty and straight-A student. And, much to people's surprise, he succeeds. However, Diane's father (John Mahoney) is anxious that nothing should stand in the way of his daughter's success.
